Noble Moon Tarot Deck & Grimoire
I made this deck for you. For everyone who doesn’t see themselves in the traditional Rider Waite tarot deck. This is for all of the women and non-binary, trans and queer humans of the world. This deck is a celebration of the femme in all bodies, regardless of gender, race, age, sexuality, identity, ability, shape, nation of origin or current economic status. The descriptions of these cards were written free of gendered language, so that all may see themselves in the words as well as in the imagery. We deserve to be the heroes of our own stories and we deserve to be able to see ourselves in the archetypes that play out in these seventy-eight magical cards. For a long time, I’ve translated the stories of my life through the many blond haired men who prance through the tarot. They have a noble job, and they do it well, but I am tired of fitting my life into theirs. If we can not be the heroes of our own stories, then how can we expect our voices to be heard and represented in our governing bodies?
Collage as an Artistic Medium
I chose collage as the medium for this deck because the Fool’s journey is never a solitary one. We are a product of the people, environments and situations around us, an unending woven tapestry of outside influence that we in turn exert our influence upon. Everything that we are is a compilation of everything that we are not. What better way to represent this mystery than with collage- a literal bringing together of found objects and fractured pieces to form a new whole.
The people seen throughout this deck come from vintage photographs. None of us can divorce who we are today from the experiences of those who came before us. For better or for worse, we stand upon the shoulders of our ancestors, and the antiquity of these images are meant to pay homage to them. And while we are on the subject of the ancestors… this tarot deck is dedicated to my Great Grandma Noble, whose picture appears in the Page of Pentacles. Thank you for your guidance from the realm of the ancestors. I love you.

Representation & Inclusivity
It is my goal in the creation of this deck to bring representation to those who do not see themselves in the traditional Rider Waite tarot. Throughout this deck and accompanying guidebook and grimoire, you will see the inclusion of many different genders, sexual orientations, body types, ages, abilities, identities, ethnicities, nationalities, economic classes, cultures, religions, spiritual modalities and magical practices. I do not claim all of them as my own. My personal identities, trainings, certifications and initiations have been very powerful in my life’s journey thus far, but they are far from a complete picture of this dynamic world that we live in. It is with a deep sense of respect that the identities, spiritual modalities and magical practices of those outside of my experience and lineage are included. I do not claim to be an authority on these matters. It is not my aim to dilute, appropriate, alter or disempower anyone else’s culture, identity or practice. If you feel called to learn more about a particular subject, please seek (with the appropriate monetary or otherwise compensation if applicable) the expertise of those who have had the appropriate training and life experience. With this deck, I seek to celebrate the diversity of this world that we live in while bringing honor to all walks of life. If you don’t see yourself in the traditional Rider Waite deck, I hope you can see yourself here. I hope you feel seen, heard, loved, respected and empowered. It is an honor to share this Earth with you.
What is a Grimoire?
A grimoire is a book of spells and magical information. The Noble Moon Grimoire has been especially created to bring extra magical insight to each one of the Noble Moon Tarot cards. Each card incudes a list of key words, an in-depth exploration of the card and it’s meaning, as well as an affirmation associated with the card, a crystal or gemstone, yoga pose, chakra, deity and ritual. The Noble Moon Grimoire is beautifully printed with 180 full color pages and bound with a hard cover. In addition to specific card correlations, there is a section on how to perform a tarot card reading for yourself and others as well as how to lead a moon circle ceremony.
